Acupuncture and biopuncture

Acupuncture is a field of reflextherapy where biologically active points are affected by special needles, thus stimulating certain morphological structures in the projection of the biologically active point. Multiple nerve radicles and receptors are affected in the skin, hypodermic tissue, muscles, tendons, lymphatic vessels, and bones. The vegetative nervous system connects the biologically active points with the internal organs. Acupuncture uses a special kind of golden, silver, or steel needles. The biologically active points are selected according to their combination rules for every patient individually.

Acupuncture is effective for:

Chronic diseases of the respiratory system, bronchial asthma;
Digestive system disorders;
Spinal or joint diseases;
Allergy, rheumatism;
Regulating the blood pressure;
Strengthening the immune system;
Reducing irritability and anxiety, harmonising the activity of the vegetative nervous system;

Biopuncture is a relatively new method whereby specific/acupuncture points are injected with biological/homeopathic products. Usually, German products of the company HEEL are used. Most of the injections are given into or just under the skin, others are given into specific painful muscle points.
Doctors use only sterile disposable needles or syringes. The selection of the acupuncture points depends on the illness and the level of its influence upon an individual patient.
